Economic Development
Cheshire is a business-friendly town. We are proud of our diverse and growing business community, which plays a key role in making Cheshire an ideal town in which to raise a family and do business.
The Town recognizes the need to remain competitive with Connecticut cities and towns and is pleased to grant incentives for new and existing companies that are in accord with the town's planning and economic goals. Real estate property tax and offsite infrastructure assistance have been given to small and large firms in the town's effort to invest in business development.
Contact us for information on available sites and buildings, services, and programs of state agencies, utilities, and other organizations that can assist prospective and existing businesses interested in expanding.
For more information about local incentives and our well-managed, critically located, and attractive town, please contact Andrew Martelli.
