The Town’s Leaf Collection will begin on Monday, November 3, 2025. Residents may bring leaves in biodegradable bags for disposal at the Public Works Garage, 1286 Waterbury Road on Monday mornings from 7:30-8:30 AM on 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1 and 12/8.

For Curbside Collection: leaves must be placed curbside in biodegradable bags before 7:00 AM Mondays for pick-up by the Public Works Department according to the following schedule.  

• November 3 – November 7, 2025 – Entire Town. 
• Week of November 10, 2025* All residences EAST side of Route 10   (Wallingford side) *Tuesday 11/11 is Veterans Day observed and there will not be any collections.
• Week of November 17, 2025 All residences WEST of Route 10   (Waterbury side)
• Week of November 24, 2025 All residences EAST side of Route 10   (Wallingford side) 
• Week of December 1, 2025 All residences WEST of Route 10   (Waterbury side)
• Week of December 8, 2025  All streets
