Donations of Gifts

The "Adopt-A-Family" program collects food items and gifts for the holidays. Please contact Kristen Cherry, Town of Cheshire Social Worker, at 203-271-6690 for information.

Donations of Money

Monetary donations are accepted for the given programs:

• Cheshire Fuel Bank, which assists Cheshire residents who are in an emergency;
• Town of Cheshire Human Services Gift Account for various programs and services.

The Cheshire Food Pantry accepts monetary donations through its website, which are used to purchase perishable items and personal care or cleaning items.

Donations of Food

The town wide Cheshire Food Drive is held every November, collecting non-perishable food for the Cheshire Food Pantry. Donations of food can be left at the Cheshire Food Pantry year-round. Call 203-699-9226 or visit their website for more information.

• Cheshire Food Drive, Inc., provides eligible Cheshire residents with $60 and $80 Food Vouchers to local grocery stores;

Donations of Time

Both the Cheshire Food Drive and the Cheshire Food Pantry have opportunities for people to volunteer their time to help our community. Please contact them directly for more information.
